Christmas & Outfits!

Helloo~~!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I know i did!! ^______^

This post im gonna be sharing a few photos from Christmas and also some new outfits and dresses! ^ ^

I love my mother so much~ When it comes to Christmas, there is no one better to celebrate it with! I came home from University on the 19th December after my last exam and how i wanted to come home!! I really needed the break and im enjoying myself so much being able to sleep LOTS and eat DELICIOUS food!! My mum is really spoiling me! ^_^

She definitely puts the magic in to Christmas, still! Even though my sisters and I are all young adults now! There is no better time of the year, my happiness is always over flowing when i spend time with my family at Christmas (especially also because i miss them so much whilst being at University! T-T ).

Here are some photos from the day!

My sisters and I!
(Rosie, me, Abi)

Me with one of my favourite presents from Abi (my younger sister!) She knows the childish side very well =P I still love cute plushies and things! ^ ^ Its a bear from the bear factory! And she dressed it in the cutest clothes!

This is one of FOUR Christmas trees we had in our house.. Sounds crazy! But our house is quite big so it made it seem really nice and cozy! ^ ^
This was after Santa had been! ^_~ There were sooo many presents it was unreal!! So it was really enjoyable to open them!

I hope Christmas was as magical for you as it was for me!

Also! Something which im so happy about, is that i became a model for the site, 'Summer Dream'!

I loved this website so much when i first found out about it! And the fact that i could become a model makes me so happy! ^ ^ its just so cute!

Visit their website here:

They are currently having a giveaway on their Facebook page for New Year!

I will upload a review video on my Youtube about their items.. But i've also got some photos of the products so i can show you here:

They sent me 3 items, Here are the ones i chose up close:

Summer Rose Dangle Earrings

Rose Pink Material Flower Ring

Pink Summer Flower Hair Pin

Im so happy with these products because not only are they cute and summery, they are really good quality for a great price! You can see the detail in the photos! ^_^

So for some outfits then! These are a mix between what i got for Christmas, and what i got when i went shopping at Meadow Hall yesterday! ^ ^ Meadow Hall in Sheffield is HUGE!! I couldn't even get to all the shops in one day!!

This dress was a Christmas present from my mum! It is beautiful!! Its got a little bow at the top and its covered in daisies! Its sooooo cuteee~ My favourite dress now hehe~ Its from a shop called 'Coneys' in my town. The boots are from Primark!

This is what i wore to go to Meadow Hall! The floral dress is one i got in the sale a few monts ago from REPUBLIC. Its gorgeous! And one of the only floral pieces of clothing i own.. I've paired it up with a white ruffle detailed cardi, cream thick knitted tights from New Look and brown knee high boots from Primark!

This blue denim one piece i bought from Meadow Hall in the sale from River Island! it was only £10! So i couldn't miss out.. I paired it up with a cute floaty cream chiffon top and my knee high boots ^ ^
I love the cute collar design with the buttons!

This is the other dress i bought from Meadow Hall, it was only £19 from Top Shop, a complete coincidence because i wasnt going to go in to Top Shop because i never buy anything from there!! But i got lucky! I love the ruffle sleeves! think this is what i will wear for New Years Eve when i go clubbing to celebrate because i didn't bring any nice dresses home from Oxford... x_x

I also got a pair of these beautiful sparkly bow pumps!! *_* Adorable~~!

New Lenses, New Shoes, Trip To London & Uni Life! (Pic Heavy!)

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all well! Its been a little while! I say that every time.. *Fail!*

Recently, I've spent soo much money! I'm supposed to be saving for Japan but.. When i find something cute i like i just have to buy it.. BUT! I am happy with each and every one of my purchases so at least thats alright! ^ ^

So one of my first purchases! That i already posted on my Facebook wall.. But i wanna share how awesome these lenses are!! These lenses i purchased from Honeycolour I find that this website sells lenses a fraction cheaper than any other lens sites! So its worth checking it out!
They are the Candy Brown Lenses.. Cost me around £20 with shipping etc..

O.o

And they even supply a free cute lens case though which is nice!

Look how pretty they are! but they look even better when they are in!

BOOM!

My big eyes =)

As my eyes are naturally blue, i was suddenly curious as to how my eyes would look brown! I'm loving the Brown eyes and blonde hair look at the moment! I think its quite a unique style as there aren't any/many people with naturally brown eyes and blonde hair..!

Do you think it suits me? =)

http://www.mirukuma.com/

More things i bought! Shoes!! My No.1 love~ I never used to like shoes so much, i guess its just because i like to really range my outfits and fashion style a bit more! ^ ^

Take a look at these beauties..

They are like the cutest ankle boots ever!! I couldn't say no when i saw these, they are pink, with Pom-Poms and fluffy! ^ ^ Seriously, what could get better than that? I bought them off Ebay for £30, the quality is actually really really good.. And they can also be worn with the fluff folded up as regular boots..

This picture is of a different colour, i have the pink ones! But ts just so you get an idea of how they look!

No matter where i go (except for work) i always wear heals, in fact, i have about 25 pairs of shoes, and only 3 pairs are flats! XD haha~! I wear heals every where, many of them are kitty heals though, i just find they make you feel a lot more elegant and i find them more comfortable to walk in!

I bought these healed converse shoes too..

Now i know they are not every ones taste.. But i LOVE them!! They are so comfortable, and because they are a cream colour, they match with everything and give any outfit a really casual and comfortable look! They were only £10 from Ebay, couldn't say no.. Surprisingly amazing quality too!!

So, IN OTHER NEWS..! XD

I've been sooo over loaded with Uni work! I swear uni work will be the end of me.. I spend every day studying, i even study while i do my make up and in my lunch hour at work.. *Sigh* Life is tough!! But its gotta be done!

I've also found im drinking an unhealthy amount of Tea.. I mean i LOVE tea anyway.. But, my gosh, im back and forward between my room and the kettle like a yo-yo.. I've never known myself to be like it before! But it helps me concentrate i suppose..

http://www.mirukuma.com/

So! Last weekend, becuase i have so much work to do, i am definitely missing my family more this year than last. I'm 4 hours away from home by train, but its just so far and i cant afford the time off studying to visit home or miss work.. BUT! To compensate, my two sisters came to visit me instead! They came down on Saturday morning, and we went to London to do some Christmas shopping! (Its about 1 hour by train so its awesome!!)

My older sister, Rosie (22) and I on the train~

My younger sister, Abi (16) and I on the train~ I know what you're thinking! "She's not 16?!" I know, everyone says that.. XD

We went shopping in so many places!! (We are very close sisters, and never fall out!) We went to Forever21 for a bimble.. That was nice because we all bought matching hats in different colours! ^_^ They have a bow on! *Excited!*

Look how decorated all the department stores and streets are!!

That's Regent Street! ^ ^
I think Christmas came waaaay~ too early this year, shops started putting decorations up not even half way through November! I'm not being a scrooge, but i think the beginning of December is when Christmas should begin, don't you agree? =)

I just, had to.. XD

The obligatory photo at Piccadilly Circus! ^_^

Later on in the day, we explored China town and did plan to go for a lovely Chinese meal, but the restaurants were queued out the door~ So we decided to give it a miss and i suddenly remembered... PURIKURA! There is a Purikura store in China Town, so i took my sisters to have a go as they had never tried it before!

Here are some of the photos we had taken:

I love my sisters soo much!!

After a very long and tiring 8 hours on our feet shopping for Christmas presents, we headed back to Oxford and had a gorgeous Italian meal, then headed to a hotel for the night! ^_^
It was a lovely change and rest from doing Uni work!

http://www.mirukuma.com/

Phew! So i guess thats all iIe got to say for now! But i hope you enjoyed reading!
Thank you so everyone who takes the time to do so! *Big hugs for you!*

Take care my lovelies,
Much Love,
Alice

My Experience In South Korea - Seoul! I wanna share it with you guys! (Picture Heavy!)

Hey everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! I hope you enjoy reading about my experience in South Korea! I gotta say, i had THE TIME OF MY LIFE!

I never thought i would ever have the chance to go to East asia this early in my life, i was waiting to go to Japan September 2012 as its part of my Uni course! But its amazing, the people you meet whilst you are in University.. And i met my wonderful boyfriend who offered me to come to Korea during this summer, so i definitely took up the offer! ^_^ (he is Korean and his family live there so he goes back to visit every summer..)

So lets get straight on with the piccies!

My flight ticket! Yes i took a picture of EVERYTHING! XD

The flight was sooo long though! 11 hours was a long time to fill, so i just watched movies and attempted to sleep.. Hehe~!

This is me after i just arrived at Incheon airport! Excuse how rough i look after the long journey!
We (me and my boyfriend), headed to Seoul on a bus and i was feeling a bit snap happy on the way so i took loads of scenic shots!

http://www.mirukuma.com/

So some of the things i did whilst i was there!

Shopping!

Of course whilst i was in Korea, i had to do LOADS of shopping! I wanted to buy as much as i could seeing as im not going back for a long time! And girls, it is like a shopping paradise out there!! SO many beautiful clothes at such a cheap price too! Shopping was definitely one of the highlights!

This building is 'Doota' in 'Dongdaemun'. Doota is a brand of cheap clothing, and Dongdaemun is a very popular place for Korean people and foreign travellers that want to go shopping! And you can see why!

Sooo many shoes! O.O

Many floors of beautiful clothes!

If you wanna see everything i bought whilst i was in Korea, watch my haul video below!

Speaking of shopping, there was a HUGE shopping mall just a 15 minute walk away from where we were staying, most days we came to eat here! its called COEX =)

This is a Hello Kitty shop inside Coex!

http://www.mirukuma.com/

So other things we got up to then!

I have a Pen Pal in Korea who i have been writing to for over 3 years now, and going to Korea was a great opportunity to meet with her! Luckily she lives in Seoul so we arranged a day to meet! ^ ^

We did so many things that day! We visited a shopping centre in Wangsimni and did some shopping, ate some amazing ice cream, went for a meal, took sticker photos and much more!

Sticker pictures are so fun! And they are a great memory to keep! (I've blocked out the other girls faces for their privacy.) But we all had such a good day together!

Thank you Ram! You really showed me a lovely time in Seoul! And i hope to see you again in the near future! ^_^

On the same night, my boyfriend and i visited a club! Yes i do like a nice dance every now and then! =D The clubs are so big, decorated and set out really nicely with great music and so much space to dance!

Huge dance floor and a nicely lit seating area! They are such a good night out!

http://www.mirukuma.com/

Just wanted to share a bit about the celebrity culture over there in Korea... Being a big fan of many kpop artists and celebrities, i had to take some photos!

Yey for JYJ!
Celebrities can be seen in every shopping centre, every street and even on buses and inside taxis! Their celebrity culture is massive over there.. There will always be a well known celeb endorsing products or on billboards somewhere! I was literally glues to the TV whenever i saw on because every program/advert would include a celebrity that i know! XD Haha~!

http://www.mirukuma.com/

We also went to Caribbean Bay! YEEEEYYYY!

Ever since i saw many years ago, the music video of 2PM and SNSD endorsing Caribbean bay i always wanted to go! It was like a dream that i wanted to visit some time in my life, and i cant believe i have! im still overwhelmed now as to how its happened! But it really was one of the best days out!
The water park was huge! It took a good 15 - 20 minutes to walk from one side of the park to the other! There were so many slides, pools, a spa and even a water surfing area!

This is me in Caribbean Bay but i've blocked out my face because when i go swimming i always look terrible! So please understand my shyness! But atleast you can see a bit of Caribbean Bay in the background! We were queueing up for a slide ride at this point!

The map of the Bay!
This is definitely one waterpark you should visit before you die! XD Its got so much there to try!

http://www.mirukuma.com/

We visited Seoul Tower too! This was such an amazing evening...

We took a cable car up to the tower, and saw such a beautiful view of Seoul lit up brightly at night as we went...

Once at the top, this is the view we saw! ^_^

There were little shops and places to stand to get a good view of the city at night. There was also this traditional Korean architecture that really interested me...

Beautiful! *_*

This is how the tower looked when we were at the top! All nicely lit up looking pretty!

We ate ice cream at the top, admired the view and took many photos! There was a Japanese couple that we met and i was able to practise a little of my Japanese language speaking to them! That was really fun!! ^_^

Before we left, my boyfriend surprised me with some jewellery which made me cry with happiness! I havent stopped wearing them, a pair of beautiful earrings and a matching necklace

http://www.mirukuma.com/

At the weekend we travelled to the West coast of South Korea to visit the beach! Whilst we were there, we stayed in a pension which we rented out for a night! Here's how it looked from the outside..

It was lovely and big! But the are we stayed was so hot and humid! The weather was nice and sunny to which was great for the beach, but it also made it more tropical which bought out all the bugs! > < When we arrived at the room, we found a huge, and i mean HUGE! green grasshopper sat on the bed staring at us! I couldnt help but scream at the sight of it and we called the landlady to come and get rid of it! Scary moment..!

This was at the beach, the view was beautiful! And there were so many people around this time of year bathing in the sun and playing in the sea! ^ ^

http://www.mirukuma.com/

During the last few days, we ventured a 3 hour journey to the BCJ Garden where Boys Over Flowers, You're Beautiful, City Hunter, and many more dramas have been filmed! The views here were beyond beautiful, it was breathtaking!
Photo spam~~!

If you've seen the K-drama You're Beautiful, do you recognise this place? =)

Speaking of Dramas, we also visited The restaurant 'Ando' aka: 'Heaven' in the drama 49 Days, Han Gang's restaurant! It was a beautifully furnished Itallian restaurant that looks exactly like it does on the drama! We ate a lovely cheese pizza with honey! Unique but yummy!

http://www.mirukuma.com/

And if you've made it this far down my blog post...!
FOOOOOD TIME! ^_^

I dont know if you've tried it, but food in Korea food is quite famous! I've only ever tried Korean once before so i wasnt too sure what i expect when it came to food! I only knew it is famous for being spicy!

WOW! O.o I know right?
Soo much food, and for such a cheap price! (Just to warn you there will be a lot of food photo spamming because every meal i had was so unique! ^ ^) I cant even tell you whats in this dish.. Pork belly, kimchi and more meat and veg with sauces! It was so so delicious! And i already miss Korean food even after only being home for 3 days! XD

Here are a few more dishes i tried out whilst i was there!

Curry Udon Noodles!

Japanese Curry and Ramen!

Get ready for it... Pig intestine... O.o it was really gross.. But i tried it!

Hot Pot including kimchi, pork belly, sausage, spam and other yummy goodness! ^_^
LOL and the hungry Alice! This is my all time favourite Korea dish!

Ice Noodles

Another pork belly dish...

And sooo much more!

http://www.mirukuma.com/

Wow this is a long post.. Apologies! But if you managed to get to the end, thank you so much for stopping by to ready about my experience in Korea!

I really did have the best 2 weeks of my life!! And its all thanks to my wonderful boyfriend who invited me over there and was also a very good tour guide showing me a different spectacular place every day! I'm very grateful to him for such a great trip!

Unfortunately though it all had to come to an end some time.. So im spending the rest of my summer holidays working before i go back to university in September!
Im really looking forward to travelling to East Asia again in the near future..
Next stop, JAPAN!

Much love to you guys and girls! Alice
